Well Summer is over and we are anxious and excited about what all God has to bring in the next few months. We plan on playing/having a lot of shows, so if you'd like for us to play for you, please let us know either by email here or by calling us. We're hoping to go on tour Lord willing-if it's in His will. Pray that God shows us what we should do about that area.No news is good news right? Well not exactly. Unfortunately, for reasons, beyond our control (mainly college), we will not be able to get any recording done until at the earliest November or December. We are very anxious and excited about getting into the studio and recording for our very first full length album. It will consist of about 9 songs hopefully. However, we still have to figure out our new recording software in order to record. We have everything else we need. God has provided everything we need and some of which we wanted. He has been so good to us. He has already blessed so much already this year of 2004. We are really excited to see what all God has in store for us in the months to come. We are open to wherever and whatever God leads us to. He has already shown and taught us alot. Keep us in your prayers. God is working. We can see it and we will keep trusting in Him and resting on His precious promises.

You're probably wondering how we got the name "12 Stone Pillars." Well there is a verse in the bible-Exodus 24:4-"Moses then wrote down everything the LORD had said. He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel." That is how we got our name.

How did you come up with that name?(you may ask) Well we came up with it from that verse. But that is not the entire reason why we came up with that name. 2004-in the time it has been here-has already been a great year for us so far. The best is yet to come! The verse talks about Moses going up and making an altar out of 12 Stone Pillars and makes a sacrifice/an offering to the Lord as His way of giving praise to God for everything He had done in Moses' life. This is why we named our band "12 Stone Pillars" because we want to present ourselves to God holy, clean, and pure unto Him with no spot, blemish, or wrinkle. God has called us to be music ministers and to minister to others(both born again and non christians). And we want to honor Him in all and everything we do and do His will for our life and live for Him and serve Him to the best of our ability. This is how we do it. This is how we minister to people. This is how we offer up our praises to the King.

We are planning on making our very first full length album, with original songs and material. It is due out and will be out late summer 2005 or early fall 2005. We'll keep you informed. All songs written by 12 Stone Pillars.
